Our client is a Dallas-based construction company delivering high-quality commercial and infrastructure projects across the region. Company is growing rapidly and investing in their finance team. We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant - Contractor to join the team onsite in Dallas.
This is a long-term contract with potential for contract-to-hire. This role will maintain general ledger integrity, support the close process, and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple projects and entities; the ideal candidate has strong Sage Intacct experience and a construction accounting background.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including project/job cost accounts
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Prepare financial reports and support audit requests
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of GL accounting experience, preferably in construction or related industry
