Staff Accountant

We’re adding a Staff Accountant to support a growing manufacturing operation. This is a hands‑on role where you won’t just record transactions — you’ll help the business understand them. You’ll work closely with leadership and operations, gaining real exposure to how a manufacturing company runs day‑to‑day while building strong technical accounting experience.

This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys variety, wants to expand beyond basic AP/AR, and is interested in growing into a senior or cost accounting path.

• Assist with month‑end close
  , journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support fixed asset tracking
  , capitalization, and depreciation
• Participate in cost accounting activities including product costing and variance review
• Help manage and reconcile inventory accounting
• Partner with operations and management to research discrepancies and improve processes
• Support audit and financial reporting requests

We do not expect mastery of everything — but strong experience in at least 2–3 of the following areas is important:

• Fixed assets
• Cost accounting
• Month‑end close
• Inventory accounting in a manufacturing environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing highly preferred)
• Solid Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze data, not just process it
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
