Soni's client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience across accounts payable, job costing, month-end close, vendor compliance, and other core accounting functions within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Process vendor invoices through Jotform and Acumatica, ensuring accuracy and timely approvals

• Follow up with Project Managers to obtain invoice approvals and maintain efficient payment workflows

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger

• Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations

• Maintain vendor compliance documentation, including Certificates of Insurance (COIs)

• Support accounts receivable functions and collections activities as needed

• Assist with job costing and project accounting responsibilities

• Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to support process improvements and financial reporting needs

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards

Requirements of the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred

• Knowledge of job costing and construction industry accounting practices preferred

• ERP experience required;
Acumatica experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

• Adaptable, efficient, creative, hardworking, and committed to operating with integrity

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 annually
Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
