Key Responsibilities
* Support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
* Prepare and post journal entries, including recurring and adjusting entries
* Calculate and record accruals and prepaids
* Perform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and key accounts) and resolve discrepancies
* Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting
* Partner with internal teams to gather data and improve accuracy of financials
* Provide ad hoc support to Accounts Payable as needed (not a primary responsibility)
* Contribute to process improvements and documentation as the accounting function evolves
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* 1-3+ years of accounting experience
* Strong understanding of month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
* Experience in real estate, construction, or a related industry is highly preferred
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) and exposure to ERP systems
* Eagerness to learn and grow into a full-scope accounting role
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
