Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee advanced accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. This role is critical to managing month-end closings, financial analysis, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Based in Dallas, Texas, the position also involves contributing to audits, budgeting, and process enhancements.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements to maintain accuracy and completeness.

- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in alignment with U.S. accounting standards.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, address variances, and recommend actionable solutions.

- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and conducting variance analysis to support financial planning.

- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure best practices within the accounting function.

- Maintain and update cash flow forecasts by collaborating with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Collections teams.

- Provide backup support for the Accounts Payable Manager as needed.

- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles with strong attention to detail.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and applicable standards.

- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Proficiency in month-end close processes, journal entries, general ledger management, and account reconciliations.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvement opportunities.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
