Position: Consolidations Accounting Manager (145K-150K+Bonus), ONLY 1 day/week in office

We are looking to fill a Consolidations Accounting Manager role with a diversified company in the Dallas area. This company operates in multiple different industries and consists of several business units. This role will be responsible for supporting the internal accounting and finance work including consolidations, close and reporting activities, and variance analysis around financial fluctuations. This role will also get cross‑functional exposure and will work with both the finance and accounting team.

The company is looking for a multifaceted candidate with at least 5-7 years of progressive consolidations and reporting experience.

This company offer excellent work life balance. This role pays 145K-150+Bonus and is in office ONLY 1 day per week in office.

Consolidations Accounting Manager responsibilities include:

  • Manage the monthly consolidations process, including setting the close calendar, daily close status reporting and elimination process
  • Responsible for the compilation of consolidated balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and the internal financial reporting package
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure that all support is provided for monthly review and year‑end audit
  • Develops and maintains accounting policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all accounting operations
  • Oversee administration and maintenance of consolidation tool
  • Owns chart of account structure, entity structure, and associated set‑up within ERP system and all reporting systems
  • Drive acceleration of the close process through process improvement and automation
  • Play a leading role in projects related to acquisitions, divestitures, and changes to accounting process or policy

The ideal candidate for this job will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
  • At least 5-7 years of experience
  • Experience in general ledger accounting consolidations of multiple entities
  • Experience in intercompany eliminations
