Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the company's financial operations by maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare financial statements and internal reports
• Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of accounting experience (public accounting a plus)
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP, or similar)
