Position ProfileThe firm is looking for a Tax Senior Manager or Director to join our growing practice. A senior leader in federal tax compliance, planning, and consulting for tax‑exempt and non‑profit clients will work closely with firm leadership and play a key role in business and team development. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years of experience at a public accounting firm.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning, and consulting at a public accounting firm, with a focus on tax‑exempt and non‑profit entities (Forms 990, 990‑EZ, 990‑PF, 990‑T)
- Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
Compensation ranges from $141,000 to $290,000 in the California, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York metropolitan areas, depending on experience, skills, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, flexible scheduled time off, a minimum of 56 hours of sick leave, 11 holidays, and 2 scheduled recharge days.
