Accounts Payable Analyst

• Process and code vendor invoices accurately, ensuring proper account allocations and timing
• Prepare monthly accruals related to Ad Valorem taxes and insurance
• Compile and organize documentation to support internal and external audits
• Review Joint Interest Billing (JIB) statements for accuracy and coordinate uploads with third-party accounting teams
• Review, code, and reconcile corporate credit card activity
• Manage the vendor onboarding process, including documentation, setup, and coordination across departments
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while resolving invoice and payment discrepancies
• Generate and distribute AP-related reporting for leadership and management teams

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry
• Exposure to Joint Interest Billing (JIB) is highly preferred, but candidates with strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly will be considered
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field strongly preferred
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Experience working within ERP/accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
