Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing team in Dallas, Texas. This position is ideal for an accounting specialist who can manage core financial activities with accuracy while keeping pace in a busy work environment. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to day-to-day accounting operations, support tax-related work, and help maintain reliable financial records.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.

- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain the integrity of financial data.

- Assist with corporate tax activities, including supporting the preparation of tax filings and related documentation.

- Manage sales tax processes by reviewing transactions, compiling data, and helping ensure timely reporting.

- Support month-end and year-end close procedures through account analysis and financial record maintenance.

- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather accounting information, resolve issues, and improve reporting accuracy.

- Maintain organized accounting documentation and schedules to support audits, compliance needs, and internal review.

- Contribute effectively in a fast-moving environment by balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines consistently. Requirements
