Job Title

Key Responsibilities:

• Run client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, completing tax projects, and managing to budget.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on tax projects; assess staff performance for engagement reviews; perform in-charge role as needed.
• Review tax returns prepared by staff; recommend improvements for accuracy and tax savings opportunities; gain increasing responsibility in reviews.
• Conduct primary review and prepare ASC 740 income tax provision engagements, including end-to-end preparation, review, and audit support.
• Research and consult on various tax matters; utilize tax-related software to prepare and process returns.
• Respond to inquiries from IRS, state, and other tax authorities.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients; collaborate effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform tax services.
• Gain understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives; apply that knowledge to engagements.
• Attend professional development and training sessions regularly.
• Adhere to highest professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Technical Skills and

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2-4 years of progressive corporate tax compliance and/or consulting experience.
• Strong experience with ASC 740 income tax provisions (end-to-end, including preparation, review, and audit); strongly preferred.
• CPA certification preferred; CPA eligible required.
• Experience in public accounting (top 20 accounting firms preferred) is a plus.
• Proficient in tax-related software for return preparation and processing.

• Comfortable in hybrid work environment with minimum 3 office days per week.

Additional Details:

• Experience with multinational clients (revenue $100M-$1B) preferred.
• No job hopping every 1-2 years.
• Annual bonus eligible based on performance.
