Oil & Gas Controller

ESA has been recruiting Oil & Gas professionals for our Elite list of E&P clients for two decades. One of our most stable and long running private Oil & Gas organizations is seeking an Accounting Controller to join their team.

This family office has 30+ entities in Oil & Gas, real estate and ranching.

Some details of interest about the position include...

• This role will be responsible for Accounting and Financial Management of 30+ entities as well as family financials
• This role requires someone with advanced Technical skills to help integrate financial data from the different entities and streamline financial dashboards
• This role will be excellent for an advanced O&G accountant seeking a quality work/life balance
• The role will manage other accountants. Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
• Significant hybrid potential after some preliminary time in-office
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required at minimum
• CPA license preferred and Big 4 experience helpful
• A minimum of 10 years of experience including upstream financial and operational accounting
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly in the areas of oil and gas accounting, and investment company accounting
• Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills
