Tax Senior

Description We are looking for a dedicated Tax Senior to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail and a strong background in tax preparation and review. You will work closely with clients and team members to ensure compliance and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations with accuracy and attention to detail.

- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and address tax-related inquiries.

- Utilize tax software, such as CCH Pro System Fx and Gosystem, to efficiently manage tax compliance processes.

- Conduct thorough reviews of 1040 returns to ensure compliance with current tax regulations.

- Analyze financial statements and cash activity to support tax filings and audits.

- Maintain strong organizational practices to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.

- Provide exceptional customer service by building positive relationships with clients and addressing their needs.

- Work effectively within a team-oriented environment to ensure seamless collaboration.

- Apply knowledge of Quick Books to streamline accounting processes and support tax preparation.

- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Eligibility for CPA certification is required.

- Minimum of three years of recent experience in a tax-related role within a public accounting firm.

- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations.

- Hands-on experience with 1040 tax filings and review processes.

- Strong familiarity with Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
