Play an integral role in financial closing requirements, subsequent account reconciliations and analysis, and daily accounting tasks.
Responsibilities- Prepare and load journal entries.
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations, including balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Prepare account analysis, including research and compilation of findings.
- Prepare daily cash journal entries and related reporting.
- Prepare P&L accrual estimates and allocations by location.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with fixed asset capitalization.
- Assist the Senior Accountant and Management with accounting adjustments.
- Prepare documentation and notes supporting procedures or accounting treatment.
- Assist the Accounting Team with ad hoc assignments.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure financial statement completeness and accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with cross‑functional departments to reach satisfactory results.
- Meet deadlines and proactively communicate findings and status timely.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Good understanding of accounting theory and GAAP.
- 2-3 years of prior experience in an accounting role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new software.
- Be a flexible person who is adept at change.
- Ability to meet deadlines using good time management skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
