** Job Responsibilities
*** Prepare and post monthly journal entries and actively support the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
* Reconcile and analyze assigned balance sheet and P&L accounts in accordance with GAAP, identifying and resolving variances
* Review and interpret financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper classification
* Partner with FP&A to investigate and explain variances between actual results, budget, and prior year performance
* Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all variances are appropriately researched and documented
* Support the resolution of open items in the Cash Clearing account, ensuring timely and accurate application
* Own and manage ASC 842 lease accounting, including ongoing accounting, reconciliations, and reporting for all lease arrangements
* Ensure adherence to established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
* Assist in the implementation and execution of key controls and process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance
* Respond to information requests and support both internal and external audit processes
* Prepare and deliver financial reports and analytical insights to support business decision-making
* Identify and drive process improvement opportunities related to month-end close, expense management, and cost optimization initiatives
* Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned by the Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Corporate Controller
** Requirements
* ** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience required
* Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
* Experience supporting month-end close, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
* Working knowledge of GAAP
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point
** Preferred Qualifications
*** CPA designation
* Experience with Workday and Black Line
