Senior Accountant, Finance; Accounting

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and actively support the month‑end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile and analyze assigned balance sheet and P&L accounts in accordance with GAAP, identifying and resolving variances.
• Review and interpret financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper classification.
• Partner with FP&A to investigate and explain variances between actual results, budget, and prior year performance.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all variances are appropriately researched and documented.
• Support the resolution of open items in the Cash Clearing account, ensuring timely and accurate application.
• Own and manage ASC 842 lease accounting, including ongoing accounting, reconciliations, and reporting for all lease arrangements.
• Ensure adherence to established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist in the implementation and execution of key controls and process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Respond to information requests and support both internal and external audit processes.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports and analytical insights to support business decision-making.
• Identify and drive process improvement opportunities related to month‑end close, expense management, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned by the Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Corporate Controller.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supporting month‑end close, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• CPA designation.
• Experience with Workday and Black Line.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting.
