Responsibilities
- Demonstrates in depth knowledge of accounting principles
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies
- Support the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring compliance with established deadlines and accounting policies
- Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Partner with operational teams to understand business activities and ensure proper accounting treatment
- Perform special projects and other ad‑hoc duties as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 1–3 years’ experience; CPA preferred
- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and handling of sensitive company information
- Ability to manage key relationships internally to provide different viewpoints for a shared solution
- Successful management of competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and exercising sound judgment with limited oversight
- Challenge existing practices and proactively recommend innovative solutions that improve accounting operations and business outcomes
- Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement, helping transform accounting from a transaction‑processing function into a strategic business partner
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, a process‑oriented mindset, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, continuous improvement, and task execution
