About The Role

The role leads the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance across all corporate accounting operations. The position serves as a technical accounting anchor, translating complex transaction flows into structured journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements that align with US GAAP.

The Accounting Manager collaborates closely with internal audit, corporate finance, and external auditors to maintain a robust internal control environment. This role drives the operational execution of SOX compliance and contributes directly to the preparation of SEC‑ready financial disclosures in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end monthly and quarterly close process, including journal entry review, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in strict accordance with US GAAP.
  • Design, implement, and test internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to ensure continuous SOX compliance across key business cycles.
  • Coordinate directly with external audit partners during quarterly reviews and annual audits, driving the timely resolution of technical accounting inquiries.
  • Optimize automated accounting workflows and ERP system integrations (such as Net Suite or Workday) to reduce close cycle times and eliminate manual processes.
  • Draft technical accounting memorandums and disclosures for complex transactions, including stock-based compensation, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and leases (ASC 842).
What We Are Looking For
  • 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and corporate accounting experience at a high-growth company.
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • Deep technical expertise in US GAAP, SOX compliance, SEC reporting requirements, and corporate tax provisions.
  • Advanced proficiency with major ERP systems (Net Suite, Workday, or SAP) and automated reconciliation software (Black Line or Flo Qast).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly related quantitative field.
  • Bonus:
Experience managing localized accounting systems, multi-currency consolidations, or participating in an IPO readiness initiative.
