The Fixed Assets & Inventory Management Enablement team is responsible for building, scaling, and operating the Company’s fixed asset and inventory accounting functions to support a rapidly growing business. The team plays a critical role in maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring audit and operational readiness, and enabling scalable accounting processes across the organization.

About the role:
  • The Director, Operations Accounting Enablement - Fixed Assets will own the strategy, leadership, and scaling of the Company’s fixed asset and inventory accounting functions. Who You Are:
  • Progressive accounting experience including senior leadership roles overseeing fixed assets and/or inventory accounting in high‑value or complex environments.
  • Deep ownership of inventory accounting with strong knowledge of inventory management systems and relevant US GAAP.
  • Proven design and operation of SOX‑compliant controls over fixed assets and inventory, with a track record of clean audits and year‑over‑year reduction in audit findings.
  • Experience establishing capital expenditure approval, tracking, and reconciliation frameworks.
  • Hands‑on leadership of ERP implementations or major upgrades (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Oracle), impacting fixed assets, inventory, and capital project accounting.
  • Ownership of system integrations between accounting, operational, and asset management platforms, including documentation of end‑to‑end workflows and policies.
  • Direct accountability for leading the transformation of the asset lifecycle and inventory accounting processes.
  • Strong cross‑functional partnership with Operations, Supply Chain, FP&A, and IT, driving measurable improvements such as faster close timelines.
  • Experience supporting large‑scale infrastructure, data center, or hardware‑intensive operations.
Preferred:
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and external reporting requirements.
  • Proven ability to partner cross‑functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
  • CPA and/or public accounting background.
Qualities:
  • Eager to learn, comfortable with change, and excited to help build processes from the ground up.
  • Value adaptable, detail‑oriented who enjoy building and improving processes.
