AR Specialist

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall accounts receivable process. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced accounting environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner

+ Generate and distribute invoices to clients

+ Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments, discrepancies, and billing issues

+ Follow up on past-due accounts and support collections efforts professionally

+ Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for

+ Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies

+ Prepare AR aging reports and assist with cash flow tracking

+ Maintain accurate customer account records and documentation

+ Collaborate with accounting, customer service, and sales teams to resolve account issues

+ Support month-end close activities related to receivables

Qualifications:

+ Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

+ 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting experience

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

+

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Net Suite, Microsoft D365, Quick Books, or similar is a plus
