Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite, with relocation)

The Senior Cost Accountant will analyze product, material, labor and manufacturing cost changes; compare standard versus actual costs; and report cost impacts to leadership.

Additionally, the role manages budgets, reviews weekly KPIs and variances, recommends cost‑process improvements, and maintains ERP item codes.

• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, determining effects on costs.
• Maintain and review weekly KPIs with leadership, explaining and analyzing variances.
• Manage budgeting and standards review.
• Monitor material and labor costs, identify information requirements and recommend improvements.
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Create and maintain internal item code system for ERP software.

• 4‑year Accounting/Business/Finance degree.
• 5+ years relevant experience in food manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to define quantitative/qualitative problems, collect data, interpret results, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with ERP systems.

• Relevant degree and 5+ years cost accounting experience in food manufacturing.
• No sponsor ships.
