AP Coordinator
$60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
LHH is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with prior legal industry experience. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and understands the unique requirements and compliance standards involved in law firm accounts payable.
Insurance defense experience is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities- Process and accurately enter a high volume of vendor invoices.
- Review and select invoices for payment in accordance with firm policies and vendor guidelines.
- Process check voids and maintain accurate payment records.
- Communicate professionally with vendors to resolve invoice and payment inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with law firm billing procedures, vendor requirements, and internal accounting policies.
- Maintain organized accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
- Required: Previous accounts payable experience within a law firm or legal environment.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
- Experience managing high-volume invoice processing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize competing deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with vendors and internal staff.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Insurance defense law firm experience is preferred but not required.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
