We are looking for an experienced Accountant III to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with business leaders to provide financial insights, ensure accurate reporting, support audits, and help drive sound financial decision‑making.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, income statements, and accounting studies.
• Perform financial analysis related to budgeting, forecasting, taxation, capital expenditures, and billing.
• Analyze forecast versus actual results and identify key financial variances.
• Prepare financial ratio analyses, depreciation schedules, tax deferrals, and derivative accounting entries.
• Accounting Operations
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Support billing, invoicing, and financial reporting activities.
  • Maintain accounting systems and financial reporting applications.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist with annual budgeting and financial planning.
  • Develop financial forecasts and support business planning initiatives.
  • Perform cost analysis and financial modeling to support operational decisions.
• Compliance & Audit
  • Prepare regulatory and governmental financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and applicable accounting regulations.
  • Research new accounting standards and assess their impact.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff.
  • Collaborate with finance leadership, auditors, and business stakeholders.
  • Present financial analyses and recommendations to management.
  • Help improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies.

• Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience
  • Strong experience applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience in financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
  • Experience preparing accounting studies, financial reports, and business recommendations.
  • Experience supporting audits and regulatory reporting.
• Technical Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar financial systems.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem‑solving skills.

• Experience in energy, utilities, manufacturing, oil & gas, or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Experience working within large enterprise ERP environments.
