We are looking to fill a Private Equity Accountant position in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in public accounting, private equity accounting, investment company accounting, or real estate accounting. Also, this will be ideal for someone with a tax background who is looking to pivot into an accounting role.
This position will pay 90K-95K depending on experience plus a strong bonus potential. The company is working a hybrid work schedule.
- Preparation of month, quarter, and year-end US GAAP financial statements
- Assist in the preparation for capital calls, distributions and allocations to investors
- Maintenance of underlying accounting records
- Preparation of journal entries which allocate income/loss from investments
- Analysis of daily cash transactions and flows of funds
- Prepare debt reconciliations and roll forwards for several facilities
- Resolve investment accounting issues involving complex investment structures
- Assist manager in resolving problems/issues in a timely manner
- Special projects and analyses
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
- Minimum of two years of professional accounting experience required; preferably in public accounting, tax accounting, investment Company accounting or real estate accounting

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
