Senior Payroll Associate

Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite

$85-90k + bonus (depending on experience)

One of Vaco’s real estate clients is looking for a Senior focused on payroll to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience with relevant payroll processing experience, some reconciliation work, and multi-unit or multi-location type structure backgrounds.

• Payroll, benefits, 401k, PTO processing in a high volume environment
• Completing analyses and analytics around FTEs, PTO
• Assist with general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Garnishments, payroll tax compliance
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address financial reporting and operational issues.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation to streamline financial workflows.

• 5+ years of experience, with a strong background in high volume payroll processing
• Bachelor’s degreeis preferred, not requiredli>
• Workday experience is a huge plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
