Corporate Accounting Manager

Our client, a high-growth institutional real estate investment platform, is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join its expanding finance team. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, the Corporate Accounting Manager will oversee key areas of the corporate accounting function while remaining hands‑on with month‑end close, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and month‑end close activities in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Review and approve Accounts Payable transactions, ensuring accurate coding and supporting documentation.
• Prepare management fee schedules and support financial reporting activities.
• Partner with Property Management, Asset Management, and Investor Reporting teams to support day‑to‑day operations.
• Assist with annual audits, tax preparation, and special projects.
• Drive process improvements and help enhance the efficiency of the accounting function.
• Provide guidance and review the work of junior accounting staff while supporting the continued growth of the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Previous supervisory, leadership, or review experience preferred.
• Real estate or property accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, month‑end close, and financial reporting.
• Experience with Yardi, Net Suite, or similar ERP systems.
• CPA or CPA‑track preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
