Lead Pipeline Billing And Revenue Analyst
Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 32 countries and territories in North America, the Greater Caribbean, and Europe. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 14,000 miles of pipeline and over 160 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which distribute over 15 billion gallons annually to approximately 11,000 Sunoco and partner-branded retail locations, as well as independent dealers and commercial customers.
Sunoco LP is looking for a Lead Pipeline Billing and Revenue Analyst to join our Operational Accounting team. We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information, and leveraging technology to streamline our processes.
The Pipeline Billing and Revenue Operational Accounting team manages inventory, revenue and costs arising from the transportation of crude and refined products through Sunoco's pipelines and connected terminals. It also supports FERC reporting and Revenue Footnote disclosures, offers internal guidance to Commercial Teams for drafting agreements and evaluating the accounting implications of different actions, and provides external customer support by addressing billing inquiries.
The essential duties of this position are designed to ensure that all margin activities are captured accurately in the general ledger.

- Manages daily processes for pipeline ticket entry and customer billing
- Ensures that all customer billing is on time and accurate
- Resolves issues accurately and with a sense of urgency
- Responsible for a high-volume of accounting information moving between multiple systems
- Maintains productive relationships with all counter parties through proactive, effective communication
- Analyzes financial results effectively, providing supporting details and insights that contribute to the company's success

- The Accountant/Analyst level requires a bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant job-related experience
- The Senior Accountant/Analyst level requires a bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant job-related experience
- The Lead Accountant /Analyst level requires a bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant job-related experience
Working Conditions:
- Usually, normal office working conditions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
