Job DescriptionBecome part of the Accounting team as a Staff Accountant on the General Ledger team. In this role, you will own the preparation of various expense accruals across multiple entities. This position reports to the Senior Accounting Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain accounts and sub‑ledgers and prepare balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, including the timely resolution of any outstanding reconciling items.
- Prepare and post manual journal entries across multiple entities, including the creation of supporting analyses and backup documentation.
- Prepare and analyze various expense‑related accruals across domestic and international entities, ensuring accuracy, proper support, and timely completion within the monthly close calendar.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to obtain accrual estimates, validate amounts, and resolve variances on a monthly basis.
- Maintain accounts and sub‑ledgers and prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including the timely resolution of any outstanding reconciling items.
- Provide accounting and reporting assistance to other cross‑functional teams (e.g., FP&A, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Legal, IT, etc.).
- Identify opportunities to develop and enhance accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
- Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP)
- Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Office applications, most notably Excel
- Excellent analytic, time management, written, verbal, and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage conflicting priorities to deliver a high-quality work product
- Great teammate with experience working cross‑functionally, capable of liaising effectively with various departments and levels daily
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
- Proactive, motivated, self‑starter that is looking for upward mobility and progression in their accounting career
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 2+ years of accounting experience; experience with multi‑entity or international accounting a plus
The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of ’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short‑ and long‑term incentives.
