Sr Accountant - Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC and other filings.

• Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC and other filings.
• Assist with annual audit and quarterly reviews.
• Assist in research accounting, consolidation and reporting issues.
• Assist in performing research to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Maintain supporting documentation for financial reporting.
• Special projects as assigned.

• Microsoft Office applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5‑8 years of relevant job‑related experience.
• The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job‑related experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Solid time‑management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Problem solving with ability to recognize issues and deal with them directly.
• Personable, positive and enthusiastic attitude with capability to deal effectively with people.
• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
• Excellent organization skills and work habits.
• Sense of initiative with desire to become truly involved in the business.
• Flexibility with ability to work in a team setting supporting several people.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

• Usually, normal office working conditions.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
