Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant | Southlake, TX (Hybrid)

We're partnering with a growing organization in Southlake, TX to hire a Staff Accountant who will play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

This hands‑on accounting role will support the Controller and be responsible for:

• Full‑cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and 1099 compliance
• Accounts Receivable activities, including invoice reconciliation, payment posting, collections follow‑up, and aging review
• General ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close support
• Payroll‑related reconciliations and coordination with HR on employee changes
• Audit support, reporting, and process improvement initiatives

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with full‑cycle AP and AR
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and formulas
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred:

• Experience with Sage Intacct or other cloud‑based ERP systems
• Experience with , Ramp, or similar AP automation platforms
• Exposure to external audit support
