Public Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Financial Reporting, Tax Manager
Our client, a full-service CPA and business consulting firm in Fort Worth, is looking for a Tax Senior ready to take the next step in their career. This role is a strong fit for someone already operating at a manager level in practice, even if their title hasn't caught up yet, and who's looking for a firm that will recognize and grow with that capability.
The firm has built its reputation on a hands‑on, personalized approach to accounting, giving clients and staff the kind of attention and consistency that's harder to find at larger firms. This is an opportunity to grow quickly, take on real client responsibility early, and be recognized for the level you're already operating at rather than waiting years for a title to catch up.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review individual, partnership, and S corporation tax returns
- Support quarterly and year-end estimates and extension filings
- Assist with client communication and day-to-day tax planning needs
- Take on increasing review responsibilities as experience and trust develop
- Collaborate with senior staff and firm leadership on client engagements
- Active CPA license
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Experience across small and mid‑size client engagements
- Comfort taking on manager-level responsibilities and eagerness to keep growing
- Strong attention to detail and client communication skills
- Real opportunity for fast advancement at a firm actively growing its team
- Small, supportive environment with direct access to firm leadership
- Hands‑on client exposure from day one, not siloed compliance work
