About Our Client
Our client, a global credit asset manager, is seeking a Fund Accounting Associate to join their Dallas/Fort Worth office. The firm is well-established with a global footprint and manages capital across public and private markets on behalf of institutional clients.
Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities
- Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process for fund financial statements
- Serve as primary reviewer for quarterly and annual fund financial statements
- Review monthly and quarterly lender compliance reporting for accuracy prior to submission
- Lead the primary review of fund tax returns and investor K-1s
- Support and help coordinate the annual fund audit process
- Help build quarterly income projections and the annual operating budget
- Oversee the process for investor capital calls and distributions
- Calculate management fees and incentive fees
- Monitor daily cash positions and manage ongoing liquidity needs
- Supervise third-party fund administrators and other outside service providers
- Act as a key point of contact for auditors, portfolio management, and the investment team
- Help shape and refine internal policies and procedures
- Take on ad hoc projects as they arise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1+ year of experience in financial services, gained at a public accounting firm, alternative asset manager, or fund administrator
- Interest in or exposure to private credit is a plus
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Clear, concise written and verbal communicator
