Payroll Specialist

JGA are partnered exclusively with a fast-growing, innovative organisation in the healthcare technology sector that is looking for a Payroll Specialist to take ownership of end-to-end payroll operations across a growing multi-state and international workforce.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative business where payroll is recognised as a critical function, giving you the autonomy to own processes, improve controls, and work closely with Finance, People, and leadership teams.

• Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Act as the primary administrator for the payroll system, maintaining employee records, tax configurations, and payroll data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and statutory requirements.
• Reconcile payroll, benefits, and general ledger accounts while supporting audits and financial reporting.
• Partner with HR and Finance on benefits administration, leave payments, and payroll-related projects.
• Administer time & attendance processes and support corporate expense/card administration.

• 3-6 years' experience processing multi-state payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance, garnishments, and wage & hour legislation.
• Experience administering payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Paylocity, Gusto
  , or similar.
• A proactive, detail-oriented professional who takes ownership and enjoys improving processes.
• CPP certification is advantageous but not essential.

The role is based in Dallas, TX and paying up to $120k + Bonus.
