Project Controls Cost Lead

We are currently looking to hire a Project Controls Cost Lead for our client, a growing organization supporting complex industrial and manufacturing projects.

This person will help develop project-controls processes and provide financial oversight for a portfolio of capital projects. The ideal candidate has experience with cost forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and cross-functional project support in an industrial environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage cost planning, forecasting, tracking, and reporting for capital projects.
• Partner with project leadership to establish budgets and maintain accurate cost forecasts.
• Develop standardized tools, dashboards, and reports to monitor project financial performance.
• Track commitments, expenditures, accruals, and anticipated cash flow.
• Review project costs and identify variances, risks, and emerging trends.
• Support funding requests and monitor purchasing activity against approved project budgets.
• Coordinate project financial information across internal teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project data and support consistent cost-control processes.
• Assist with project closeout, reconciliation, and financial reporting activities.
• Recommend process improvements that strengthen cost visibility and reporting accuracy.
• Provide additional project-controls support as needed.
