Accounts Receivable Representative
Pride Staff Financial has partnered with our Dallas-based client to identify an Accounts Receivable Representative to join their growing team! This position offers competitive compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunities.
In this role, you'll be the key contact for customers regarding their invoices, payments, and account inquiries. You'll also play a vital role in maintaining accounts receivable by processing payments, reconciling accounts, and generating reports.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Field inquiries from customers via phone, email, and other channels regarding invoices, payments, and account updates.
- Process, post, verify, and record customer payments and account activity.
- Reconcile daily lockbox reports and ensure accuracy with the general ledger.
- Research and resolve any unapplied customer payments to ensure everything is accounted for.
- Maintain and update customer files, including contact information and account details.
- Generate reports on customer account status whenever needed.
- Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the support of the Senior Accountant and team.
- Work alongside the Senior Accountant to regularly reconcile accounts receivable and ensure revenue accounts are accurate each month.
- Manage and maintain accounts receivable documents efficiently.
- Relay important information to relevant team members to keep everyone informed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team's success.
Are you a great fit?
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred.
- You have at least 1 year of experience in a related accounting role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
- You're a whiz with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and are comfortable with accounting software programs.
- Proficiency in using standard office equipment is a must.
- You can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on details.
- Discretion and good judgment are key qualities we value.
- You can anticipate needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Top-notch organizational skills are a must for this role.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
