Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant
LHH is partnering with a leading industrial equipment and material handling company in Dallas, TX to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant. This position will oversee the month-end close and financial reporting for multiple entities while also playing a key role in process improvement initiatives.
This is a hybrid opportunity requiring four days in the office and one day working remotely, with flexibility in the daily schedule. The position offers a competitive base salary of $85,000–$100,000, depending on experience, along with a company performance bonus.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with corporate and operational teams to address accounting-related questions, research discrepancies, and provide financial support.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly and quarterly financial information, identifying variances and ensuring reporting is accurate and completed within established deadlines.
- Manage and coordinate various general accounting activities, including account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, accruals, journal entries, and fixed asset accounting.
- Contribute to the annual planning and budgeting cycle, financial forecasts, and external audit requests.
- Help uphold accounting standards, company policies, and internal control procedures while identifying opportunities to strengthen processes and improve efficiency.
- Support the ongoing accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records and reporting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or eligibility for CPA certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures. Candidates with public accounting backgrounds or progressively responsible corporate accounting experience are encouraged to apply.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and leaders across the organization.
- A proactive approach to professional development, process improvement, and finding ways to make accounting operations more efficient.
Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $ per year
