Position Overview

We are seeking four detail-oriented and organized Shared Services Commissions Analysts to join our client services team. The ideal candidates will have strong accounting, mathematical, analytical, and communication skills, along with experience in Life Insurance or Financial Services
.

The role involves preparing and processing commissions, reviewing carrier statements, resolving discrepancies, maintaining commission information, and supporting advisors and internal stakeholders. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet processing deadlines are critical for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process commission payments accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Review and reconcile monthly commission statements from multiple insurance carriers.
  • Research and resolve commission discrepancies and urgent payment requests.
  • Maintain accurate commission payout grids and related documentation.
  • Respond to questions and inquiries related to commission payments.
  • Research licensing and contracting information.
  • Research and understand commission structures and processes across multiple insurance carriers and products.
  • Document and communicate carrier commission processes to advisors and internal team members.
  • Serve as a liaison between advisors, relationship managers, insurance carriers, and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate commission records and supporting documentation.
  • Manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Life Insurance or Financial Services.
  • Strong accounting and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with insurance carrier commission statements.
  • Knowledge of Life Insurance products and commission structures.
  • Experience with commission processing, reconciliation, or financial operations.
  • Familiarity with licensing and contracting processes.
  • Ability to quickly learn carrier-specific commission processes and systems.
