GL Accountant — Part Time
Position Type: Part Time, non-exempt employee
Compensation Range: $31.25 – $40.50 per hour, DOE. Position may be bonus‑eligible.
Location: This position is based at our Service Centers Dallas, TX.
Schedule: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off – Close Only Schedule.

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a
General Ledger Accountant who is interested in working part-time to support key accounting functions that include reviewing expenses, posting journal entries, and preparing detailed monthly and quarterly P&L reports. Additionally, you will work closely with facility operators to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Complete expense reviews.
- Post journal entries.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly detailed P&L packages and partner with the operators of the respective assigned facilities Ensure that deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Monitor applicable SOX controls Complete month-end internal controls.
- Maintain accurate and organized records, paperwork, and documentation.
- Analyze data and trends to improve benefits-related processes and recommend enhancements.
- Partner with like-minded people as well as our front-line operators to ensure their financial success and provide them the ability to care for those in need.
- Devote yourself to continuous learning, development, and find new ways to challenge yourself.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required.
- 2 years of accounting and/or public accounting experience, required.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail have always been your thing.
- Ability to manage and meet challenging deadlines while simultaneously prioritizing projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
