Private Equity, Director; Fund Administration

My client is a technology-led fund administration platform seeking a Private Equity Director. This is not a stereotypical fund administration role. You will combine technical fund accounting with client leadership, team development and process improvement, while helping clients leverage modern technology across complex closed-end fund structures.

• Leading the day-to-day operations of a private equity fund accounting team
• Overseeing NAV calculations, financial statements, capital calls and distributions
• Reviewing fee calculations, profit and loss allocations and performance reporting
• Managing the creation and maintenance of complex waterfall models
• Acting as a senior point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
• Managing and developing client teams of up to 10 employees
• Resolving complex accounting enquiries escalated by junior team members
• Leading fund audits and ensuring their timely completion
• Managing new client onboarding and fund transitions
• Improving workflows, procedures and operational controls
• Supporting recruitment, training and performance evaluations

• 7+ years of private equity or alternative fund accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of NAVs, allocations, waterfalls and financial reporting
• Experience managing clients and developing accounting teams
• Strong systems, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Investran experience is advantageous
