Accounts Payable Manager

A leading real estate company in Dallas is seeking a seasoned Accounts Payable Manager to lead and optimize its accounts payable team. This is a direct hire opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with deep experience in real estate accounting systems and a passion for process improvement.

• Lead the full accounts payable lifecycle for multiple real estate entities, including fund overhead and internal property management operations.
• Manage invoice workflows using Avid Xchange, ensuring accurate coding, routing, and approval processes.
• Monitor and refine vendor onboarding procedures, including tax documentation and compliance with 1099/1096 reporting.
• Leverage MRI and Avid Xchange to streamline vendor setup and automate recurring tasks.
• Generate and analyze AP reports to identify bottlenecks, resolve delays, and improve payment timelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and internal teams to enhance financial controls and reporting accuracy.

• Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for real estate industry exposure.
• Proficiency in Avid Xchange and MRI software is required.
• Advanced Excel skills and a data-driven mindset.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
