Accounting Intern; Fall); Part-time

Brief Description

This position supports the accounting team and reports on a portfolio of clients, including working closely with the operational team (principal/brand management) to facilitate the clients’ accounts receivable and accounts payable. This position is also responsible for general accounting as needed. Our ideal team member is individually motivated and highly organized and has strong communication skills.

• Maintain a portfolio of clients: customer billing, and accounts payable related to customers
• Help brand management with reviewing expenses, reviewing time, answering questions, and providing documents as needed
• Review client accounts receivable
• Generate and distribute monthly reports
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Help with month-end close

• Able to cooperate and collaborate with all levels of employees
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and advanced Excel
• Highly detail-oriented and organized in daily work
• Able to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and ask questions if needed
• Self-driven and ready to learn, with a strong work ethic
• Able to think on your feet and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• College degree track within accounting or finance
