There's a difference between managing audits and actually being known for how you manage them. At a firm this size, it's the second one.

We're working with a mid market public accounting firm in DFW, around 100 to 150 staff, looking to add an experienced Audit Manager. It's large enough to bring in a genuinely varied client base, but small enough that leadership actually knows who you are and what you're capable of, rather than you being one name on a long list of Managers.

The client mix spans commercial and nonprofit work, so you're not funneled into one narrow specialty. If you've been doing solid work but feel like it's going unnoticed, this is built differently.

• Managing audit engagements from planning through completion, with real autonomy
• Reviewing work, owning deadlines, and being the direct point of contact for clients
• Developing associates and seniors, with a genuine hand in how they grow
• Working hybrid, with flexibility to structure your week while staying connected to the team

• Solid audit background at a CPA or public accounting firm
• Comfortable managing engagements independently and communicating directly with clients
• Experience with commercial clients, nonprofit clients, or both
• CPA valued, but fit, experience, and technical judgment count just as much
