Assistant Controller

Unity Search has been retained by an international, fast-growing Uptown Dallas multi-unit franchising company in its search for an Assistant Controller. Primary Responsibilities:

This role will directly support the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Staff Development and Leadership – oversee a team of 8-10 people
• Project Management - Regular Communication with Department Heads Across the Company
• Corporate Accounting
• Process Improvement
• Technical Accounting
• Ad Hoc Reporting
• Internal and External Reporting
• External Audit Support

Requirements:

• CPA required
• 10+ years of relevant experience highly preferred
• Public accounting firm foundation a big plus
• Accounting consulting foundation could also be good for this role
• Current supervisory experience required – leadership skills are VERY important in this role
• Public company exposure
