Hughes Tank Company is based in Venus, Texas
This is a full-time, on-site Office Administrator role located in Venus, Texas. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day office operations, coordinating administrative tasks, providing customer service, and ensuring the proper functioning of office equipment. You will also facilitate communication across teams and assist in maintaining an organized and efficient office environment.
Key Responsibilities- Greet clients and visitors; answer and direct incoming calls
- Manage email correspondence, mail distribution, and telephone services
- Organize files, invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
- Maintain calendars, prepare meeting agendas, and coordinate travel
- Support clerical staff with advanced or sensitive tasks
- Maintain office supply inventory
- Assist with shipping and receiving
- Coordinate office activities and internal events
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a professional environment
- Local travel for mail or supply pickup as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma required;
Associate’s degree preferred - 3+ years of administrative/clerical experience
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Prolonged periods at a desk/computer
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
