What You’ll Do

Are you a detail-oriented professional who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? As an Operations Assistant in Kirkland & Ellis’s Dallas office, you’ll play a key role in supporting attorneys and staff through exceptional service, efficient office coordination, and precise document management. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative, high‑performing environment where operational excellence supports world‑class client service.

The schedule for this position is:
Monday through Friday; 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM CST.

  • Deliver Office & Mailroom Support – Manage daily mail runs, courier deliveries, and interoffice correspondence to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate Digital Media & Document Management – Handle digital file transfers, manage electronic data rooms, and maintain the firm’s Document Management System (iManage) for secure file sharing.
  • Execute Scanning & Production Projects – Lead large‑scale scanning, archiving, and print/finishing projects using multi‑functional copiers and binding equipment.
  • Maintain Supplies & Inventory – Replenish and monitor office, print, and conference room supplies to support day‑to‑day readiness.
  • Oversee Procurement & Vendor Coordination – Track purchase orders, invoices, and Certificates of Insurance (COIs) while coordinating vendor deliveries and service requests.
  • Support Facilities & Office Logistics – Assist with maintenance requests, workstation setups, and office moves to ensure an organized and efficient workspace.
What You’ll Bring
  • Education – Associate degree or post–high school technical training preferred; high school diploma required.
  • Experience – Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment involving digital media requests, copying, scanning, printing, and binding preferred; familiarity with legal document workflows strongly valued.
  • Technical & Operational Skills – Proven ability to manage digital and physical document production using advanced office equipment and document management systems.
  • Organization & Precision – Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
  • Communication & Professionalism – Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, client‑focused demeanor.
  • Physical Capability – Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Flexibility – Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet firm and client demands.
