The Contract Administrator II works under minimal direction to collaborate with end‑users, Group Purchasing Organizations, and Contract Management for the sourcing of goods and services. This position will lead and support sourcing and contracting activities in assigned categories. Contract development, project management and procurement experience is preferred. Candidates should also be familiar with Microsoft Office and have experience with People Soft, Docu Sign and Jaggaer.
Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. This position falls under a hybrid work schedule with one day per week in office and as needed.

- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent or Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree - Experience:
4 years of administrative experience with High School diploma or equivalent or 2 years of administrative experience with Associate's degree or
- Facilitates the sourcing and contracting of medical/surgical products, equipment and services for UT Southwestern in collaboration with end‑users, Group Purchasing Organizations, and Contracts Management in alliance with contract compliance and expense reduction initiatives.
- Responsible for ongoing vendor relationship and contract management.
- Coordinates with end‑users in preparation of RFX and provides direction on recommended sourcing approaches based on Contract hierarchy and federal and state regulations.
- Implement a Value Based selection process and positions the Office of Purchasing as a trusted advisor.
- Review transactional data to identify opportunities resulting from improved pricing and verify expected outcomes after implementation.
- Coordinates contracts review and execution and tracks processes to fulfillment.
- Reviews contracts to ensure that terms are in accordance with UT Southwestern policies and procedures.
- Monitors contractors for HUB and insurance compliance in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Provides effective record keeping ensuring that all contract documents are readily assessable.
- Compile information and respond to internal and external audit requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
This position is security‑sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
