Position: Licensing Coordinator I

Licensing Coordinator – PHP Agency

Fountain Place – Downtown Dallas, TX. This fully onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Job Summary

The Licensing Coordinator will provide high-level support for customers, reviewing, filing, and submitting contracts, licenses, and applications, ensuring accurate and timely processing of agent appointments.

Responsibilities
  • Process contracts and licensing for agent appointments with carriers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Compile and verify data accuracy before entry.
  • Take necessary actions to ensure submitted data is complete and correct.
  • Record completed work, transmit data into the database, and route or file documents.
  • Provide knowledgeable customer service, responding to inquiries about document status and resolving inconsistencies.
  • Follow proper processes for timely document turnaround and follow‑up.
  • Process updates, changes, and additions to agreements, licenses, and commission schedules.
  • Assist with new carrier and new agent onboarding.
  • Complete special projects such as software testing or implementation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED; prior experience preferred.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Competency in basic computer navigation and common applications (email, word processing, spreadsheets, internet, Adobe software).
  • Excellent time‑management, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Adaptable to changing business operations; works well independently and in teams.
