POSITION:
Office Assistant

DWS ENERGY

Founded in 2014, DWS Energy is a rapidly expanding, multi-disciplinary electrical construction company focused on commercial and utility‑scale solar and battery storage (new construction and operations & maintenance), building controls wiring, and electrical pre‑fabrication solutions in our UL‑508A certified panel shop. The organization has expanded its service offerings throughout its tenure and continues to grow at an accelerated rate.

OVERVIEW

The Office Assistant – role will oversee daily office administrative operations while supporting Human Resources functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. The position will be responsible for ensuring smooth office operations, assisting with data entry and audits, and coordinating HR‑related documentation and compliance.

DUTIES Office Support
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient office environment.
  • Perform general office administrative tasks, including ordering office supplies and company merchandise, coordinating maintenance services, and managing incoming mail.
  • Maintain vehicle compliance by coordinating inspection reminders, processing registration renewals, and organizing service documentation for accurate record‑keeping.
  • Coordinate and manage all employee travel logistics, including booking flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and ensuring compliance with company travel policies and budget constraints.
  • Manage ordering of approved branded swag, including shirts, hats, and promotional apparel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
HR Support
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support the planning and execution of company events and employee engagement initiatives, including coordinating logistics, communicating with vendors, and fostering a positive workplace culture through creative and inclusive activities.
  • Help schedule and track training, and HR‑related meetings.
  • Assist in coordinating employee documentation for audits and compliance checks.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience as Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with basic HR practices and principals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), HR software (e.g., Computer Ease, ADP, BambooHR).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, files).
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and data entry.
  • Occasional bending, reaching, and walking within the office environment.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and copiers.
