Description

The Legal Secretary will provide high‑level administrative and secretarial support to attorneys, with a strong focus on billing, financial coordination, matter management, and legal administrative tasks. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced legal environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare, edit, and finalize draft bills; track deadlines and coordinate adjustments
  • Support client intake, conflict checks, and matter openings
  • Process expenses and assist with collections follow‑ups
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate communications
  • Arrange domestic and occasional international travel; handle expense reconciliation
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
  • Provide cross‑team administrative support and assist with special projects
Skills And Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Administrative Assistant (law firm preferred)
  • Experience with legal billing systems (Intapp Time, Intake, eBilling) is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, reliable, and team‑oriented; ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime
