Legal AR and Collections Specialist

$60,000 - $85,000 per year | Dallas, TX | On-Site | Permanent

Hybrid opportunity with competitive salary.

• Receive, apply, and record client payments with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain legal AR records, review aging reports, and follow established collection protocols
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and account variances in coordination with attorneys and internal teams
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding account balances and billing inquiries (phone, email, and written correspondence)
• Partner internally to improve billing, collections, and documentation processes
• Maintain organized, accurate documentation and correspondence files
• Balance multiple priorities while consistently meeting tight deadlines

• Prior experience in Legal Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Collections
• Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and legal billing/timekeeping systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high‑touch, client‑service mindset
• Highly organized, detail‑driven, and capable of working independently
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Degree preferred but not required
